Having grown up in urban Los Angeles, never in my dreams did I think I would own horses. I realized in the late 1980’s that I didn’t want live in Los Angeles anymore. I wanted a ranch somewhere and well what is a ranch without horses? If I wanted this new lifestyle, I had better learn about horses and how to ride. I started taking lessons locally and when I groomed that first horse, I was hooked. I loved the way horses smell. My life with horses began.

My knowledge and experience with horses includes riding, breeding/raising babies and basic training. I have competed in events such as western pleasure, halter and cutting. I am a long standing member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
 
Horses have taught me about life…who I want to be and the journey it takes to get there. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for a horse. Horses have taught me more than I have been able to teach them.

I worked as a freelance writer for Horse Illustrated, The Paint Horse Journal and the Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Magazine. I was also a professional equine photographer.

I have been a Reiki Master – Practitioner since 1994  (energy work). I offer Reiki sessions for people and pets; to include horses. I also offer classes in first and second degree Reiki.

Through my love of horses, Mystic Ranch Horse Care Products came to be. I have created products that are plant based. The essential oils and plant extracts used in the formulas are nurturing and healing to the skin; to manes and tails and provide aromatherapy for overall well-being.

Mystic Ranch Horse Care Product line is the first way I can make horses happy.
